AI, how does it work?

In the world of property management and building inspections, accurate measurements and timely detection of defects are critical. Fortunately, artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to improve and automate these processes.

Our AI is used a state-of-the art detection model to recognize building elements and defects. The model is trained on large datasets of verified building information. Through continuous training and validation, we continuously improve the performance of our AI that ensures accurate measurements and reliable defect detection.

The trained model is set loose on new images and is able to analyze the imagery in such a way as to identify the characteristics of building elements. These elements are then measured automatically and extremely accurately. This eliminates the need for time-consuming manual measurements and minimizes human error.

As mentioned earlier, the AI can also detect defects. The model can identify specific defects and anomalies based on visual patterns and features. Cracks in walls, missing roof tiles, damaged facades and other structural defects are automatically detected. This enables property managers and building inspectors to take proactive measures before defects become larger and more costly.

 The benefits of AI in building measurement and defect detection are significant. First, the use of AI saves time because building measurements and defect detection can be done quickly and automatically. Because the drone images are tagged with GPS tags, our AI is able to take measurements to 1-2 mm accuracy. These extremely accurate measurements make a quotation process not only faster, but also more accurate. In addition, early detection of defects enables professionals to perform preventive maintenance, avoiding costly repairs and damage.

Integrating AI into property management and building inspections opens the door to a new era of efficiency and improved processes. As our AI continues to be trained, its capabilities will increase and we will be able to recognize and measure more and more damages and building elements. 

In short, AI offers groundbreaking capabilities to automatically measure buildings and detect defects. This technology speeds up processes, increases accuracy and enables preventive maintenance.
